October 13th - 59 Weeks

Changed the colour to a dark rosy pink - and I got elastics 😥😥😥 and they're the ugly triangle ones as well ugh ugh. 

But they're only my left side - it's so it could pull my teeth closer - my right is all good, just my left. So far not any real throbbing pain... Just a little and a noticeable pain on my left from the constant pulling. But other than that it's all good. 

Now I have to go around wearing a weird elastic only on my left side 😒😒😒

August 26th - 52 weeks!

ITS BEEN A YEARRR!!!!! 🎉🎊❤️ HAPPY 1 YEAR TO MY BRACESSSSSSSSSSS WOOOOOOOOP!! 

yesterday I went to my appointment - no elastics ! Yaaass, and I also got purple chains as well. 

The reason I got purple may not be big to some people, but to me the reason was because of wear it purple. Wear it purple will be on Friday (28th of August) just tomorrow as I write this post and to support it by having my braces purple means ALOT to me. 

Support the LGBTI have been a major belief that I've held ever since year 8, and I think it's cool having purple braces during wear it purple ! 😏😊 

But yeah - nothing much has changed. This morning my teeth felt pretty lose especially if I tug it or push it with my tongue. But other than the usual normal throbbing pain when I bite - everything's fine :)

26-07-15 MY FRIGGIN ELASTICS CHANGED COLOUR

I got pink last Wednesday, and now after eating a bowl of noodles AND IT HASNT EVEN FULLY BEEN A WEEK YET the elastics changed colour. They changed to orange. Great. I got Orange elastics. At least it ain't a yucky orange... Yet....

July 22nd - 47 weeks

So I went to my ortho last Wednesday and I had my braces tightened, and a new wire. He took out the power chains on my bottom teeth, but he added the chains this time to my top teeth. I got a light pink (I was honestly aiming for a hot pink but they look light pink on me) and yeah.. My next appointment is 5 weeks from now (I think I should've spaced it out to another week or 7, but I wanted to have my appointment before wear it purple day on the 28th of August. I wanted to grab purple braces (yes, as corny as that sounds) but yeah. That's that!

June 17, 2015 (42 weeks)

So I got my appointment today ~ and everything's good. Just got mint green for my bands and yeah. The only change I've noticed since the last appointment was that he put little zig zag wiring along the top 4 teeth. It looks weird up close but whatever. AND IM NOT ON ELASTICS OMG BLESSSS!!!!

April 29th 2015 (35 weeks, 245 days)

I forgot to post this after the appointment - so I'm posting it now. This was after my or tho appointment, and I got purple rubber bands ~ my teeth have remained the same, and nothing much has changed. Currently, my bottom teeth have actually straightened, and the shape is slowly transforming into a "U" both top and bottom. My ortho has also put a power chain on the bottom teeth, just to straighten and close any gaps within the teeth. I'm glad I don't have a power chain on the top though, but I have a feeling it might happen... I'm still wearing the "Ram" rubber bands, but they're not as noticeable, just from the back to the canine teeth. I'm wearing them consistently, due to the fact that they're not noticeable and I can easily wear them. I have another appointment in two weeks, and I'm thinking of getting a light mintish green for my next colour :) 

(29 wks, 203 days) My fourth appointment - lost count of how many weeks.... (29 weeks)

I really have lost count, I'm writing this on the 20th but I had my appointment on the 19th of March, 2015. This is my... Fourth ortho appointment? And this time I'm still on elastics, however they go back, and not triangle anymore, WOOOTOTOTOTOTOTO!!!!! I can finally eat more freely, and just talk more comfortably. The elastics are WAY more thicker than all my other ones in the part combined (the animal is Ram) and also, my coloured ties this time is grey! Woot~ Throughout the past 6 weeks I was being incredibly bad, and not wearing my elastics 24/7, and when I took them off, I didn't put them back on till 6 hours later.... This time I'll definitely wear the elastics every day, every minute because these aren't as annoying. I promise to wear my elastics as frequently as possible no matter what, or else this will slow down my treatment by heaps. Here is like one photo, I should upload photos of the elastics and their placement as well but... I might forget. I'm getting incredibly laZy documenting this, but hey! At least I'm taking the time to write this blog post! 

 

22 weeks!!!

Just had my 3rd ortho appointment, I changed the ties to pink! But the most saddest thing is... I'm back on elastics.

and they're the triangle ones ;(((( 

Elastics really suck because they just look ugly and they're a pain to wear and I always forget to wear them. Man. 

Anyways, hopefully I won't wver wear them. But I doubt that....

Top seems heaps straight, but bottom still has the gaps and and is a bit crooked... Damn.

I have like sores on my bottom lip which hurt... Actually they don't hurt, but they're just really annoying and they look ugly.

I don't bother wearing any wax mainly because I'm lazy and I want my mouth to toughen up but like... These sores are really bad, almost to the point where the flesh just wants to come off.

But it doesn't hurt. Here are the gross photos.
